Aleksandr Oliver Korolko is an American Film Director and Cinematographer who won many awards in 2019 film festivals, including Best Film European Independent Film Festival. He was born in the USSR and moved to the USA in 2012. He first achieved directorial success for his documentary in 2011 “The Culture of Chernobyl Exclusion Zone,” which brought him international critical acclaim for his cinematographic talents. In 2015 Google hired him as a “Video Creative Developer” in San Francisco, California. He served as Director for numerous music, videos and commercials such as: Aveeno (with Jennifer Aniston), Gillette, Honda, Revlon, Nestle, Vanich, Adidas, VIMEO, Pixel, Facebook Instagram, Ebay, Wendy’s, Johnson & Johnson, Pepsi, Maybelline, General Motors, Sephora, L’Oréal Paris, Walmart, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Campbell’s Soup, Ghirardelli Chocolates, PetSmart, KFC NZ, Veet Sensitive Precision, Lenovo, Samsung Galaxy S8 (UAE), Avast, Monster.com, Fiat Chrysler, Nivea, Henkel, Heineken, LG, Sky Sport, Danone, National Basketball Association, Athleta (Gap Inc).

He earned degrees in electrical engineering and aeronautical engineering in the Ukraine before shifting to filmmaking and new media, where he harnesses his diverse skills, from animation to cinematography, from concept development to music composition and virtual/ augmented reality. He has wide-ranging experience as a videographer, animator, editor, cameraman, and director on TV, video productions and live broadcast. In 2017 – 2019 he directed the feature film “By no means” independent of his job at Google, which won many Best Feature Film and other Awards on the 2019 Film Festival circuit. He was Cinematographer for HELLO WORLD (rock opera serial), for which the first episode is winning awards on the 2020 Film Festival circuit.
